ABOUT US

The American Leukemia Foundation, Inc. is a small private civic organization started in Roswell, Georgia in 2008 to assist in the fight against blood cancers, including:

  • Leukemia

  • Lymphoma

  • Hodgkin’s Disease

  • Myeloma

Our organization strives to make a difference in the fight against blood cancers by raising money and increasing public awareness to accomplish the following goals:

  • Raising money to be used in funding stem cell research

  • Providing funds to deflect the economic burden for patients undergoing treatment by assisting with routine expenses such as hospital parking and the cost of prescription medications

  • Putting together patients and families with programs to provide needed assistance

  • Increasing donorship of much-needed blood and platelets

  • Encouraging people to be profiled and added to the DNA donor database to become a potential stem cell donor – and save someone’s life
